Vipareeta Karani & Paripurna Navasana

DElotus Asana workshops offers a deep personal journey for individuals to explore and experience the body and how its postures influence your mind and its modifications.

For example Vipareeta Karani or the inverted pose, comes from the Sanskrit word – ‘Vipareeta’ means ‘inverted’ and ‘karani’ means ‘doing’. Vipareeta karani asana is one of the simplest of the inverted asanas and hence simple to carry out. This pose activates the spiritual center in the neck region called the vishuddhi chakra which is closely associated with the thyroid glands and it enhances general health. Another similar and very important yogic posture is Paripurna Navasana or Full Boat is an abdominal muscles strengthener.
